In Exodus 2:11–15, everything shifts from quiet favor to sudden conflict. Moses has grown, and one day he steps out to see the suffering of his people the Hebrews.

What he sees disturbs him deeply. An Egyptian is beating a Hebrew, and something inside Moses reacts fast.

He looks around, makes sure no one is watching, and strikes the Egyptian, kpufing him. Then he hides the body in the sand.

At that moment, it probably felt justified like standing up for what’s right. But the next day exposes a different reality.

Moses sees two Hebrews fighting and tries to intervene, but instead of respect, he gets questioned:

“Who made you ruler and judge over us? Are you going to kpai me too?”

That hits hard. Suddenly, Moses realizes his secret isn’t hidden anymore.

Fear takes over. What he thought was buried is now known. When Pharaoh hears about it, he seeks to kpuff Moses. Everything changes instantly.

Moses runs leaving behind the palace, the privilege, and the life he knew. He escapes to the land of Midian.

This moment is raw and real. Sometimes, acting out of emotion can disrupt the timing of purpose. But even in mistakes, the journey isn’t over it’s just taking a different route.
