    *Planting Process:*

    1. *Land Preparation:*  

       - Clear the land and till the soil.  

       - Apply compost or organic manure if available.

     

    2. *Planting Time:*  

       - Early in the rainy season (March–May in most parts of Nigeria).

     

    3. *Spacing:*  

       - Plant seeds *25–30 cm apart* in rows, with *75 cm between rows*.  

       - Plant *1–2 seeds per hole*, 3–5 cm deep.

       - Maize *germinates in 5 to 7 days* after planting.

       - Maize matures in about *90 to 120 days*, depending on the variety and climate.

       - Apply NPK fertilizer 2 weeks after planting.  

       - Urea may be added at the 6th week.

     

    7. *Harvesting:*  

       - When the husks are dry and brown.  

       - For fresh corn, harvest earlier (70–80 days).

    Farmers is doing a great job but people hate farmers especially people that doing government work that government employ they we useless farmers and farmers is provide food for everybody
